Jenevieve Johnson (born January 30, 1998) simply known as Jenevieve, is an American R&B singer-songwriter with Cuban, Bahamian, Spanish, and French roots. Jenevieve grew up in Miami, where she has a history in dance through her grandmother and mother, both ballet dancers. Now living in Los Angeles, it is here that she met her producer and songwriting partner Jean Benz.
In February 2020, Jenevieve released her debut single as a musician, with “Medallion” and a month later, she first gained notice with the release of her massive single “Baby Powder” year later, in May 2021, the Miami native returned with singles “Eternal” followed by “Midnight Charm” and “Resume” before announcing the release of her debut project “Division” scheduled for September 3, 2021.
